Reminded me I used to enjoy welding c.1948. We didnt wear safety glasses in those days, I overstrained my eyes staring at the glow of the torch. It was like doing embroidery with metal. Had to give it up, have worn glasses ever since.

Bit late arriving here Mark but congratulations anyway, my dad was a welder amongst other things, you`ll be making lots of different things now then, just cover up safely, I can well remember my dads many mishaps and his scars...
