Today's visitor

What a great picture of him clinging to the tree. We haven't seen one yet this year but that's probably because I've stopped putting nuts etc out for the birds as we had a problem a few weeks ago with rats coming in from next door where they were living under their decking. But, we did see a squirrel yesterday when we went out to a local park with Paddy (our terrier) .

We have the odd squirrel visiting and then nothing for weeks or even months! We have the same problem with nuts Paul, only ours is a murder of crows who shake the feeders, or even knock them down completely to get at the nuts. In the process they trample any nearby plants and rip up the lawn to get at remnants! Our neighbour (across the road) has just put in yards of decking, but they do have a couple of dogs so perhaps they will keep the rats out, though when the crops come off the fields, the rats appear!

We have a dog but it doesn't seem to worry the rats. They still came under the fence into our garden.

Nice to see him but I hope he behaved ! :)
