Wildflower Gro Mat

Hello just a few pics of my wildflower gro mat and to report on its progress – I sent away for it out of the daily paper – when it arrived it seemed to be quite big so I cut it into three – 2 pieces were set up at the house in a selected area – but I did not have a vacant area that was large enough really – and other plants such as the peony overtook and probably smothered some of the wildflower seedlings.

But the third larger piece I took to the allotment and here are the results

Clover – campion not sure of the others

Poppy and Scabious

Marigold

Cornflower

Scabious

Red Clover

While I was down at the allotment I took a wander round and took a few pics – OH is doing really well this year his vegs are is pride and joy

peas beginning to pod up

This globe artichoke is mine it is in its second year – I hope to use some of the heads for floral decorations – I have another plant up at the house and I gave the neighbour one – OH is hell bent on eating it and I am determined to spray it with silver and gold – we shall have to agree to compromise

The allotment is divided into 4 parts – this is one section – growing Broad Beans – Cabbage – Carrots – Beetroot – Parsnips – Raspberries and a few weeds !! Thanks for visiting my Blog

Thanks Bilbobaggins - I'm hoping to attract lots of bees and butterflies - there were a few bees and hoverflies busy there today - Bjs - I threw away the instruction sheet so apart from collecting seed I am not sure what to do !!

Just looked at it Marigold, lovely. Mine seems to have a lot of poppies as well, but I don't think they were part of our package. I will take a pic.
