I was telling my friend in Scotland about GoY and now she has joined. My latest photo shows her in my Old Garden which she visited and loved. Hopefully she will send some pictures soon of her’s.
I was telling her how hard it is to tear myself away once I come onto the GoY site, and today she knows what I mean. The trouble is there won’t be any time to actually do gardening! Bobg’s blog was so funny, I keep going back to it.
Reading the questions today, I thought the two about neighbour’s Ivy were rather sad. It is a real nuisance in the wrong place, and I do remember having a 6ft fence covered in ivy which I regularly cut off at the top, but I didn’t realise it may grow under the fence. The neighbours remained friendly, so perhaps it didn’t. Birds nested in it, and one Autumn I was showing a young grandson an old nest, and guess what it was occupied by a …..Frog!! My daughter-in-law ran for her camera, but it wouldn’t wait. It was at least 5ft off the ground.

I love the frog in a nest Mad and yes this site is addictive but at least its not fattening.

I know what you mean about this site being addictive. My husband keeps giving me funny looks, when I laugh out loud at some of the things I've read on here. I'm sure he thinks I'm going senile!!!!
