About me

I have a small garden, but am interested in flowers, vegetables and unusual plants.

Also have a compost heap for all kitchen waste and end of season plant waste.

I also make good use of the laural bush which seems to grow very fast. I cut of the excess shoots, sun-dry them and then compost them to make excellent leaf mould which comes in very handy in beds and also as part of the compost when planting in pots.

I would like to gradually grow salad vegetables.

My favourite summer flower is petunias, the colors just are a delight.
