It's miserable and rainy here. Nothing like yesterday though. There were floods yesterday. A fire engin had to pump water from houses in Ammanford and the doctor's surgery was flooded too.
I hope it clears up for you soon Lyd.

Sorry folk. I don't envy you the floods but I'd love a good downpour. Just send one over will you. Still mid 30's and uncomfortably hot here.

Very wet yesterday, a bit better today. And the last gardens in Berkshire are opening tomorrow for the Red Cross. Hope it's drier or we may set a record for the fewest visitors (I think our current record since I've been helping is 13)

Fay is long gone and Hanna decided to turn more north, so it looks like all our hopes for an end to this drought must be pinned on Ike. This far from the coast all we ever get from Hurricanes is lots of rain, but the last 3 years we have been in a severe drought and all the lakes are WAY down, we are even starting to get protests about how much water Georgia is releasing to Alabama and Florida. You may send as much rain as you can spare my way. PLEASE!!

Our monsoon season is just coming to an end and now it's back to 100+ degrees and doing the watering.. I'm with you Chrispook, I don't envy flood type weather but I really appreciate it when it rains here.

Wet, damp, saturated, water-logged, poor light levels, plants suffering and fed up of this dreadful weather in Bristol!

And here just 40-ish miles away - so I know what Grenville is suffering - because I am too - and my garden.

Grenville, I still think walking in woodlands, In the rain where there are wildflowers and wildlife, great.

Well guys something worked. We had a much needed downpour here in Hungary today. Puddles in our road, whoopee! Dried up again now but it's cooler than last week and may get more rain by next weekend. Thanks for sharing it Brits!
