Dogs, foals, flowers & fairies!

Our dogs always find something to do on their walks, apart from chasing pheasants!!

They just couldn’t resist this pile of sand that was, once, in a tidy pile!

Thirsty work this larkin’ about! X 3 black & white bottoms!

Then the pup went on to wind up the cat, who follows us because it’s nearly dinner time!!

We walk by our mare and foal, I try to keep pup out of the paddock to get some photos!

Thirsty foal!

What a tiny head collar, he is now tucked up in his stable for the night while his mum has her tea and the colt sleeps in the straw.

On heading home I take a look at the tiny wild cyclamin which are slowly spreading, they are so sweet but difficult to show the colour in the photo.

X 3 dogs, playing in sand and mud, lots of dirty paws!!

While pups eat their supper I notice the light coming through this little tealite where I placed 3 orchids that dropped, they are guarded by my little fairy

This is my wee fairy, given to me years ago, I always find her somewhere nice to sit. I cleaned her today, so she’s looking her best!!!

An early arrival, the foal is a beaut - the diamond on his forehead is perfect, he's going to be very handsome, mums good looking too. Give him a few weeks and he'll give the dogs the run around specially the pup!
The dogs really enjoyed themselves in the sand lol, but its a bit cold to hose them down.
Are there anymore foals due?

16 Feb, 2011

We have about 5 or 6 more foals due, one of them maybe tonight! This foal in the blog is about a month old now and I caught our puppy chasing it wanting to play, she was thoroughly told off!!

lovely blog, pictures and animals, love the foal.
reminded me of a cheetah ~ not a hyena!!??

Love your blog, Lulu! :-)) Your dogs remind me of our small dogs - now sadly wherever little doggies go when they leave this world. Always up to some kind of "mischief"!

That little foal is a real beauty :-))

I've never seen wild Cyclamen before, I didn't know they grew wild in the UK! Do you know if they are native to the UK or perhaps plants that have escaped into the wild & have now become naturalized.

Hi Balcony, thanks for your comments! Have just taken the dogs for a long walk and they are now covered in mud!! And we have had another foal born since a few days ago (see profile pics or her a few minutes old!)
As for the cyclamen, am not sure if they are truly wild, will have to look that up but they are much smaller, closer to the ground than most other cyclamens and they slowly seed and come up all over the lawn, they are very sweet.

She's lovely isn't she. At the moment she is sitting on my chest of drawers in my bedroom! She likes to move around a bit!
