Nonsense Poetry

Promise I won’t do this again, just couldn’t resist………….

Here’s wot I wrote!

My cat has a tree
In which lives a queen bee
And tomato juice stains on my front.
So I thought up a rhyme
To make sense of time
And all I can whinge on is wine.

So thine unto be forthright
An underling takes much fright
And wobbles internal flight,
It’s plight?
To nether its pans
In the tumbledown pans
And I’m fried in a wok if I’m wrong!

(and while down (or is it up loading?) pics for last blog I found this……….

Chest of drawers
Draw string drawers
Put ’em in a kettle.
Red house Yellow house
On a hill do settle.
Doggies wild, screaming children
Give a box of pills,
Red house, yellow house
Now sit on two small hills.

With an oak tree and a cherry,
Blossoms but no berry,
Eastenders and the news,
Dinner in front of the telly.
Do shake in their shoes
Rumbles from the belly.
Eastenders cries out with sad news
And bad news from the telly.

Sick of telly,
Put on wellies
Stomp around the hills,
Smiling children play with coins
Shortchanged from the box of pills.
Climb the oaks, blow the blossom
Lets now play in the garden.
Red house, yellow house
And a bridge between the hills.
