June has past and the garden is now speeding into summer.

Now I give to you all the Bluebird of Happiness. May it always fly with you forever:)

Yes Davros, years ago I came upon a book about English cottage gardens and the term " organized chaos" well, I liked that style and there began my cottage garden.
Your right Paulspatch, everything from hummingbird moths to hummingbirds. The smell of the Hyssop permeates the whole garden right now.

You have some beautiful blooms there Loosetrife. I would love to see a shot from further back showing a bigger area! That little waterfall is gorgeous - does it run on solar?

I'll try to get a long shot on this twisty turn garden. The ponds have electric pumps, this time of year with the heat they are running 1800 gal/hr along with bubbleizers. I have over 40 fish in each pond. I know I should take some over to the pond center to thin out the population but I am quite fond of them believe it or not. Some of the plantings were planted by friends and relatives of mine since planting on my part was a no go with my recent surgeries. I admit some of the groupings were a bit too close to one another but I think it turned out very well. Due to my age I decided to forgo annuals all together and planted perennials and am doing more container planting. I now have the feeling that at the time I go back to eternity my last act will have been that of pulling a weed out.

What a beautiful garden :)

Thank You All. My Lobelia cardinalis is in full bloom and that has precipitated a great battle in the sky over the garden for humming bird territory and I must say it is fun to watch.

Lovely to have hummingbirds!

Steragram, while trying to get a wider view of the garden, I was able to get a picture of a hummingbird energizing itself on one of my Lobelia. I will post it on a new blog sometime today. Weather wise we have had a whole week of high humidity and temperatures in the 90's. (F) ...it's been brutal to be outside past 10 AM.

Sounds as though you need lots of stamina to stand up to that weather! Looking forward to the hummingbird blog.
