About me

I am forty-thirteen years old and my hubby and I live on the outskirts of Southampton. We have a small garden, not as small as modern day houses have, but smaller than we would like. For several years we gave up gardening because little would survive our two border collies, but two years ago we took drastic action and divided the garden in two, giving us a dog free zone for veggies and specimen plants. Hubby loves azaleas and rhodendrons which were a particular target for one of our dogs as he chases bees and will jump on any plant where they are busy. Now he is confined to the lawn end of the garden where we tend to grow plants in tall pots. Now with a dog free zone we have been experimenting this year with growing veggies, mainly in containers. Wow I had forgotten how good they taste.
