Too Windy for gardening so....

We went for a drive around this afternoon, as it wasn’t really gardening weather with the strong winds we had today, and thought you might like to see the lovely flower beds and waterfall in a caravan holiday park…..Sorry some arn’t quite as clear as they should be but the wind was very strong.

Looks nice apart from the wind blowing you about all day Lin. Hope you keep safe it has blown very hard here all day. Not seen any damage anywhere yet though, so hopefully we have escaped it. Wind beginning to die down a little now.

Very strong winds here Lin ..
I grabbed a hammer and fixed the roofing felt back on my oldest shed, but otherwise, everything seems intact !

You did well to take the photos in such gusty conditions !

Thanks Oliveoil, its still very windy here, giving everything a battering, beans, sweetcorn, tubs blown over, and also on top of all that, it dries the gardens and tubs out so much, and so many plants land up with wind damage, which is such a shame, when they've still got so many flowers on them. We are on a corner plot and our road goes uphill, we are at the top, so the wind really gusts across our garden. Never mind, perhaps we MIGHT get an Indian Summer yet!!! .....

Thanks Sheilar, yes it was lovely and sunny and really warm when that wind stopped blowing, although it was strong, it wasn't cold, it just wore you out trying to walk against it.

Pleased you fixed your roof felt Tt, at least you caught it in time otherwise it would have been more to pay out, which we can all do without!!

Yes it was Shirley, I haven't seen one so clean and tidy and with so many lovely gardens, they really do maintain it well. There was also lovely holly bushes and different trees as we walked round it. We never saw the whole park as it was very hard to walk against the wind. I was shattered when I got back to the car.

Thanks for your kind comments sixpence, it certainly was lovely, it was only the lovely gardens at the entrance we noticed as we drove past, that made us go and have a look, and we were very impressed.

Hi Homebird, thanks for your brilliant comment, you had us both in fits of laughter. I keep looking at the clown and laughing to myself. Thanks for the good laugh, it does us all good, instead of hearing about all the price rises, and what the governments stinging us with next.
