Plant bargains

I’ve been doing a bit of shopping over the weekend, and hadn’t planned on looking at or buying any plants, but saw a few bargains and couldn’t resist. Thought you may like to see what I bought.

This Lavender I bought in The Range. 49p. Reduced from £3.99.

This Miniature shrub rose was 99p reduced from £4.99
I did buy a Chilli plant for 49p reduced from £3.49 but haven’t yet uploaded it.

These Ericas were bought in Lidls 89p each or two for £1.50.

This Cyclamen was £1.79 in Lidls. I also bought a 5kg bag of mixed Daffodils for £5.
My Daughter bought Pansies also. 10 in a tray for £1.99 or two trays for £3. She had been to Wyevale and bought Cyclamen which were £2.49 each, buy 2 get 3rd free. But the ones in Lidls are bigger plants, so for 37p more, she had bigger plants. The Pansies in Lidls were 10 in a tray, and what she’d bought in Wyevale were only 6 in a tray, so she was well gutted. She did say however about her club card and that she’d had pkts of seeds for 50p each.

I've been to Home Bargains and poundland and they have their garden stuff on sale, including bulbs for the autumn for 99p.. I have snowdrops, alliums, hyacinths, crocuses, tulips and iris.....

All my summer £1 bulbs and tubers came up, so this is a great and cheap way for me to explore what I like and how things grow........... love a bargain, me!

You've scooped some great bargains there! I paid £3.99 for a lavender plant earlier in the summer from B&Q and it's died on me! I could look out for a bargain although I've been to one of our local nurseries and not much was reduced at all....will give Lidl and Home Bargains a swing by though....bulbs sound good.
