Hi, It’s been dry today but the wind has had a bit of a bite to it. Everything is growing so fast that no sooner you turn around there is another flower out or the grass has grown overnight!!! The lawns certainly look lush and green. I’ve tied up some of the clematis and they have flower buds on nearly ready to burst forth. I just hope that the forecasted low temperature for the next couple of nights doesn’t spoil the new growth on everything. Did some hoeing as the weeds never stop growing do they….Just walked over to the River gardens where some brave folk have rented out rowing boats and are paddling along on the river, Didn’t see any ducklings over there but did see six little ones with their parents in the week swimming on the river. I have just put Peter rabbit away for the night. He has enjoyed being out in his run today. Twinkle our Siamese is asleep in the greenhouse. There is a smell of curry penetrating the house. I have diced the vegetables and chicken and Gerry is doing the cooking. Since he has retired we share the tasks. I wonder what tomorrow will bring….Lindak.
