It looks like being another glorious day. Twinkle has sat right next to the mouse, so I am going to have to move her out of the way. The next stage will be my lap!!!!! The birdsong this morning was fantastic. We have one rather plump woodpigeon sat on our wooden fence and a speckled mistle thrush pecking at the fat ball.
The bluetits are busying themselves again, I wonder how many babies have hatched out. The tomato plants in the greenhouse look really healthy and I must pinch the shoots out today. I’ve found that they grow better in large pots with a cane in for support, than growing them in a bag. We have to cut the grass again today, and I’ve had to start taking my hayfever pills as I’ve been sneezing. By the way my lap was the next stop for Twinkle….....
I must get going as I have a busy day today so good gardening all….......Lindak

Yes, the birdsong is lovely at the moment here too. There are a couple of blackbirds who have singing contests from the tops of 2 trees either side of my garden - it gets a bit deafening sometimes! Lucky Twinkle to have somewhere safe to be taken for a walk - I'm sure my girl would like to go for walks but alas I live on a busy road :-(

Yes, lots to do. I'm going to do as much as I can now before it gets too hot, and then I'll do some more tonight after it's cooled down. I've just been for a walk with my cat (Blodyn) . She pesters me every morning until I go with her for a walk down the garden, up the lane, and around to the front of the house. I've heard people in the bungalow around the corner saying " there's that man with his cat again ". They think it's amusing to see a cat taking someone for a walk every day !
