I weeded in the carrots and spinach this morning and watered them. Everything is growing so fast with this sudden burst of heat. The grass has gone beserk!!!! My irises and large poppies are coming out and some of the perrenial geraniums. It won’t be long before the clematis flowers are showing their usual splendour. The goldfish are racing around in the pool and there are six resident frogs in there too. I am having to pick off the lilly beetles and am finding plenty of slugs and snails although the frogs seem to keep some of them at bay but I have to put a few pellets around certain plants I don’t like doing it. Went for a walk today around the local lanes, had an orange and a sit down in the local pub up the hill for a breather then carried on till we got home. Saw a buzzard being mobbed by crows. Lindak.
