winter walk.

It was so calm today that I drove to Ognaston reservoir to have a walk with Gerry. We saw about eight herons sitting up in the trees, about nine cormorants, seven swans, seagulls, robins, blue tits, heard a woodpecker in a copse, and about thirty or so lapwings flying around together. The water was like a mirror reflecting the trees and the sky. It was beautiful, so calm and peaceful. We searched for little fish around the shallows but couldn’t see any in the clear water. Just enjoyed the time spent there. Best wished from Lindak.
