Visit to Karen's garden.

We visited Karen and Scott’s wonderful garden yesterday. The weather was not very good on our drive to Dundee from Glasgow but the moment we got out of the car the rain stopped. Barry and Scott discussed local archaeological sites and well-pruned apple trees while Karen and I toured her garden.
I have to say there was only one weed to be seen but Scott had it out and over the hedge in seconds.
I have never seen such a tidy garden, with fresh healthy plants. How does she keep it all looking so colourful and bright? There are so many wonderful plants in colour groups. The garden seems quite small as you first approach it but as you walk around it opens out into a large garden with so much to see.
Unlike my own garden, there was no sign of autumn or dieback.
I came home with some Geraniums, Strawberry plants, cake and two jars of delicious plum jam.
I would have liked to take the pod home too.
If you can make the journey I highly recommend a visit.
Thanks for a lovely day. x

Splendid visit - so glad it stayed more or less fine for you!
Hubby looks as though he's doing some Irish dancing - Karen's garden is enough to make anybody dance!

Great to see so much colour and good to be able to share in your visit if only visually.
