Hi Linda, it's about 60 years since I saw Loch lomond, do they still have the boat trips ?, if I remember rightly I think it was called ''the maid of the mist'', Derek.

So tranquil and atmospheric.

.......the bony, bonny banks........

I thought I saw a Little Nessie in one image!!!

Eirlys....that must be why they can't find him in Loch Ness...he's flitted!

Wouldn't it be stunning in the sunshine.

'Maid of the Loch', Derek. It was not cold and it was dry......two good factors. We didn't need sunshine as it was strangely beautiful in monochrome.
I think Nessie would have had a bit of a hike as we did. Final destination was the pub and a fish lunch. No sign of Nessie there either.

Thanks Linda, I had a feeling it was the maid of something, maybe the mist confused me a little, but it was about 60 years ago, {that's my excuse anyway}, Derek.

Lovely day out, and sensible to go before the mozzy season!

It is bad news in the mozzy season Stera. We go prepared. Barry and I like to swim in the loch in June if the weather is good before the tourist season begins. We can drive there in half an hour.

gorgeous photos: i can see a couple of them working well as wall murals!

Oh Fran! Don't talk to me about murals. We are doing six eight feet by four feet panels at the moment. I will put the info on the sight soon.

I've found several on Amazon and elsewhere: I'd have to for less than whole-wall ones, not having that much spare wall in the first place! but even reading the how-to for them is mind-bogglingly confusing.

I'm going to go for window size types, I think, if I ever do get round to it. Can't wait to see your results!
