Just back from Loch Earn

After a wet week at Loch Earn with my sister and two cousins, the garden had gone berserk and a lot of work was needed to get it back on track. Why do we go on holiday?
We had a wonderful time even in the rain. Here is one photo of Loch Earn in the rain and the latest blooms in my garden.

Wow, you've got some gorgeous flowers. Those paeonies are grand! Why do we go on holiday?....we don't! And we probably wont until January, and If I had my way, we wouldnt go then either! Every morning when I open the upstairs blinds i feel like I am on holiday! :)) and if it rains..I have all I need here to occupy myself and my own comfy bed to sleep on! Glad you enjoyed your wet week though...each to their own! :)

We had a week of fun and laughter and lots of rain. We saw a beautiful deer outside our window each evening, red squirrels playing in the trees and up in the sky osprey. What a treat!

What lovely Peonies....
Ha ha, Looking at the latest blogs, it seems everyone (well, nearly everyone) from GOY was away last week. But, not me....we aren't going away till September .
Shame you had poor weather....a bit hit and miss this year...well, more miss than hit really!

What lovely flowers. Hopefully in time and all your help I will start to learn the names. :-). Think I can beat you all on the holiday front :-). Where hubby self employed, our last holiday was 12 years ago. He flew me to spain on valentines to ask me to marry him. He is such workaholic!

At least I am not playing tennis Paul.
The Peonies are great but too much rain makes the blooms dip Wildrose.
The smell in the garden is wonderful with the Mock-orange Steragram and the Cardiocrinum is amazing.......the scent fills the air.
Maybe you need a return visit to Spain Jen....thanks for your kind comments.
It was a great trip Barbara.....we spent a lot of tip laughing!
