The garden through my windows.

The garden though my windows. One of the best things about where I live is the view from my windows. I live in Glasgow and I am sure many of you will think, “Poor Linda”, but I live in a leafy suburb with wide avenues, huge trees, and wonderful gardens. Pollok Park, “Best Country Park in Europe 2009”, is within walking distance. Hope you like the photographs.

What a beautiful garden, a real haven. Inheriting a well developed garden is a great bonus, but also a challenge. Like trees (see one my blogs) which, on the whole, are a real gift, but, in their maturity, can be overbearing. Fortunately, it looks as if in your garden, they provide a wonderful background setting as well as privacy, turning the garden into a place to escape from the world outside.

I keep on viewing your garden Linda and I am worried of the coming snow... If only I can keep all your plants here for awhile ...
