My Own Triffid...

Many years back as some of you will probably remember one could go to the cinema 3 times a week and see 6 different films, Sunday was always X-rated and one had to be aged 16yrs or over to get in, by todays standards most of the films were actually quite mild but one that scared the living daylights out of me was The Day of the Triffids; don`t ask why I really don`t know and I`d laugh about it now.
Anyway I now have my own little Triffid, actually I`ve had it for years, don`t know its proper name but thought somebody else might, as you can see its weird and wonderful…….

Below is a close up of what I always thought were its flowers..

However upon inspecting her today I noticed something else ……..

Close up its like white fluff with brown tiny spikes.. This is the original trunk and has never had anything like this before… .

Back indoors now and I`m keeping an eagle eye on her

My weird and wonderful Triffid LOL
