Funday in the snow..

First thing this morning the garden was a picture of white, it looked lovely..

However that didn`t last long and soon became a playground..

Brynner was in his element and loved it.

Poor Morgan was not impressed at all and kept trying to get away and hide..

As you can see his hidey hole did not work as Brynner dragged him out and the canes as well.

Poor Morgan, that look says " Let me in pleeeeease !!!!".

These guys stayed well high, not impressed as they want breakfast..

Another reason why the birds are keeping to the treetops is this fellow.

Oh dear Harry, you want a wash..
Still have a bit of colour..

At least Brynner was happy in the snow.
Very slushy now as its very foggy and still thawing, fingers xx it does not freeze later…

It does send them silly doesn't it..Not sure if it heightens their sense of smell or they have to sniff harder, but bruce takes an agonising extra two mins at every sniff spot. That soon adds up to hours.

They look very happy !

hehehe..that was my garden this morning until Perry went out and charged around like a thing posessed! Because of the snow he couldn`t see where the lawn ended and the borders started so he probably squashed the odd plant or two as he went. It was so funny to watch though. :o))

I honestly think Morgan is quite happy just to pop out and straight back into the warm now but Brynner loves it and as you can see had other ideas.
Normally they both stay off the borders but I`m afraid today in all the snow they didn`t care where they put their paws, Brynner also thought he`d prune a Hebe for me as well, now that bit wasn`t funny, he was eating the snow at the time and took the branch as well....

Great blog, Great fun.
I used to have siberian huskies & they knew when the snow was coming, they would put heads in the air & howl.

Smashing blog - good to see someone was enjoying himself :)
My wee dachshund doesn't like the snow....his manhood is too near to the ground!

Hi Lincslass, I couldn't keep my Westie in and he is 15 years old this year. He loved it and his little legs where like white mufflers when he came back in. He will not let me wipe him down either, he bites me if I touch his legs, quite a nasty little thing when you try to get his feet. Not nasty any other time though, oh unless you are trying to get him up to do a wee last thing at night. All he wants to do is lay in front of the fire then, quite a grumpy old man. We had about 4 inches here, and it is very cold and icy now. Fog last night but all good this morning, but still extremely cold. Hope you are keeping cosy. Lovely pictures and blog - B

Sweet doggies, they do so love the snow, well most of them do!

Great to see how much the dogs enjoy playing around in the snow! They are just like little children!

How much snow did you get where you live? Here we had about 3" lots beginning to melt away today. Lots of lovely dangerously slippery ice for the unwary to fall on tomorrow! :-((

Lovely blog! Oh, the look on poor Morgan's face! Such a sweetie!

We used to have a Cairn Terrier Olive, he also loved the snow, very affecionate unless one tried to trim around his ears and then one had to pop a muzzle on him.
We had about 6ins yesterday morning when we got up Balcony but have had fog ever since, even rained a bit today but not enough to wash it all away, no frost though which is a good thing...

Lovely to see your doggies enjoying the snow [not sure Morgan is very keen though] Had 5inches here, lots still around but it is gradually starting to go ;0)

A lot of the snow has melted here as well but we are forecast some snow showers tonight. Later we will have clear skies & a heavy frost. Friday is forecast to be quite sunny but with a cold NE wind. Very cold air still flowing into the East of the UK from Siberia! Likely to stay that way over the weekend.

We are now in the coldest region of England.

Lovely pictures - dogs are such fun to watch in the snow - we have not had much snow down here - mainly very frosty and icy weather - Marigold

Welcome to GoY, Marigold! :-)) Hope you will enjoy our wonderful conversations, blogs & photos & perhaps add a few of your own!!

We had a couple more inches of snow just when the snow from the week before had almost all melted. Last night, Friday 10th, we had the lowest temps of the winter so far. According to the weather gadgets from Yahoo this morning at 6am we had -12ºC! That's mighty cold!!! I don't know how accurate they are but on the weather forecast on TV this morning they said that many areas in this region had at least -10ºC or less! So I reckon they can't be far out! It was officially the coldest night of the winter so far. Only a day in 2010 beat last night for the lowest temps in I don't know how long.

I haven't even seen the children so far playing in the snow this year. Good to see they're enjoying it. or at least one of them is lol. Nice blog..
