Right place for a change..

Lots of rain here today until late afternoon, so when it did clear up I had a wander around outside with my camera. As you can see my apple tree has survived its haircut, you can see the bit that still needs thinning out when I get my new line for the loppers..

Its all tidied up and dug over underneath yet again..

Still lots of flowers even though a wee bit wet.

Then a friend popped up over the hedge at the bottom of the garden..

Always a favourite of mine..

Hadn`t got time to stop for a cuppa, places to go and people to wave to.
All visitors are welcome in and over my garden.
So pleased I had my camera…

It all looks fine,Linclass..and the new hairstyle on the Apple tree is good..we haven't had any decent rain for a while, but it looks like we will have more than enough this coming week..I like watching the planes come over too,as we are on a flight path for both Leeds and Manchester..luckily they are high enough up,so we don't need to cover our ears for the noise !

Paul the grey/silvery plant is Artemisia stelleriana had it in the garden for years, it does have little yellow flowers on but is mainly grown for the lovely foliage, there are more of the same family with different leaves, all great for their foliage, the pampas grass was completely covering the bottom of that bed, I had a right old game thinning it out, the bed has lots of new plants growing in there that don`t yet show up on the pic, hopefully they will get through next winter...
Pixi I did think my rose was the same as the one around your door, its absolutely gorgeous.
Thanks all for comments, I do love to see the planes, comes with always living near the raf stations, sadly no Harriers anymore....

The garden is looking good Lincs you`ve still got a bit of colour there to keep you happy.
I always used to set fire to my pampas grass in November to get really good plumes the following year.

Stroller it was so much easier when I could do that, now as you can see its too close to my sheds and the bottom greenhouse so have to sort it the hard way....
