Thank you for such a welcome – wish I had found this site a long time ago! Am off to view several open gardens in Swallowfield today; big black clouds and stormy wind – typical June day in the UK! Dosn’t dampen the passion though.

So nice to hear that the weather did not put you off, we need like minded people like you to swell the coffers, we visited a lovely garden this Saturday, forgot the camera!!

The gardens tour on Sunday afternoonwas lovely however, we went expecting to view 8 gardens but when we got there were shocked to be told there would be 16 to view scattered over quite a distance! We managed 14 before they closed - should have gone a bit earlier. Could hardly walk the next day.
