RHS Wisley

Seeing as you enjoyed the photos of our visit to Butchart gardens I thought you might like to see some from our visit to RHS Wisley in August. The day before had been extremely hot but luckily it had cooled slightly. Its not much fun walking around all day in the extreme heat. We really enjoyed our time there and ended the day walking around the plant centre spending all my money. The husband just followed behind me sighing and reminding me of the time. Well I needed someone to push the trolley while I chose the plants…lol!

Another lovely day walking around a beautiful garden, what better way to spend leisure time. :o)

Last year we went in November and they had some really nice Christmas goods in the shop Louise, and of course the selection of books etc is great!It wasn't raining and there weren't so many people around ~ was great!

Was the garden centre up to much then Arlene or low stock levels like a run-of-the-mill gc ?

Their plant sales are great (I spend too much there). A bit pricey but you can get some really unusual stuff, it's all good quality and comes with a two year guarantee (as long as you remember to keep the recepit and where you put it)

I too think their garden centre's great and yes, definately good for unusual items !
As for prices ..... you get what you pay for !

great day out sandra and beautifull gardens, so much colour, glad you had a good summer because we didnt here in blackpool, rain every day in august, awfull, enjoyed your tour thanx :o)
