Passion flower vine

My grandson Aaron is just 2 weeks older than the little girl next door(they will be 4 in 3months). Amber and Aaron often play together and about half the time it is “through the fence” talking and being silly.

I had to go and remove the cupcakes from the oven that Aaron and I had made. I left Aaron outside being silly through the fence. Cupcakes taken care of I decided to attempt to get a picture of the 2 playing without them knowing.

Right as I was snapping the photo, I realized what they were doing.

My passion flower vine!!!

A nice little pile on Amber’s side of the fence.

And a nice little pile on Aaron’s side of the fence.

They proudly proclaimed…“We’re going to feed the Cows”

OH! Well! maybe it will come back in the spring more full after this major pruning.

It was kindly explained to the kids that they are not to pick any plants without asking first.

Have a good day.

Kris

Well you know it wasn't their fault LOL...those imaginary cows caused it. I haven't heard my kids make any remarks like that LL but I don't give them a chance...I tell them I have my "grandma rose colored glasses on"...I didn't wear glasses when they were little LOL

Hywel...I've been laughing since it happened...that is why I had to share it.

Ian...grandkids is the "reward you get for not killing your kids" lol

Right KC it really is Smurf strangling time!!! wheres the sprog!!! lol
Bless their little cotton socks, maybe getting the fence out the way so they can play together would solve the problem, eh!

trying to solve one problem would create another...molly dog would run the neighborhood then and that would not be good. Aaron and Amber do very well as is with the few times that Aaron visits Grandma. He has actually gone over to Ambers yard to play at times. (she has more yard toys over there)
