This morning as I was preparing for work when I glanced out my kitchen window
Yes…I know it needs cleaned again…a never ending job.
And to my excitement I seen a hummingbird going to the Impatiens. :)))
But as hummingbirds go they go very quickly and even though the camera was right beside me I didn’t get the picture.
It had went in the direction of my ‘rose of sharon’ bushes.
I followed with my camera thinking that she would feed at the bushes…of which I was correct…Camera up almost ready to snap aannd she’s gooonnee.
The hanging baskets viewed directly and not through the window.
I have been waiting patiently for a hummingbird to show up. I have not yet seen them at my hummingbird feeder but hopefully sometime soon.

Can't wait to see the pics kmcue...I've only ever seen humming birds once in my life & that was in Rhodes 10 years ago. thought it was a huge wasp or hornet in a hibiscus right next to me but when my husband said it was a humming bird I couldn't believe it! It was soooooo tiny...& so pretty...I really didn't believe it was a bird!

Hope you get your photo Kmccue. They are such lovely birds.
My hummingbirds disappeared for a while when the weather got too hot. I wonder where they went? It finally cooled down a bit over the last couple of days and they are back.

I did get some pictures a couple of years ago...I went to my Mom and Dad's...they have hummingbirds to their feeder all the time. the pictures turned out ok I believe it will take more practice to get great ones. If not this year maybe next for the pictures. :)

I love humming birds, they are a joy to watch, i envy you, you ARE lucky Kris :))
I've only seen them when i've been on holiday but could watch them for hours !!!
