I like the plants bargain, also like bikes as well so put the plants on the bike and photograph them both, problem solved....lol.

so what panniers do you have on what bike?
ian it is important to know which bikes gardeners have for us other bikers. so i am sure we could squeeze answers in.
currently i have a honda 250 with small top box. ok for 2 x 6 celled plant trays pansy etc.
hubbys honda 500 has a bigger box and panniers. can get a 2 litre pot with similar height top growth.
when we had the harley road king [sob no longer] we used to get loads in.
have been known to ride pillion with a clematis and honesuckel in my lap.
plastic bags over the top foliage to prevent wind damage.
that was a strange sight.
the only ones i'd struggle on would be the matchless G9 and the ariel huntmaster. but they tend to be special days and then we have the excuse for going back in the car. :o)

Watch it Seaburngirl, Keep talking like that and I'm likely to throw my dummy out again, Photo's photo's and more photo's are needed to stop any missile throwing LOL

My kawazaki 650b is just a distant dream now, I've had several Hondas from a 250 superdream upto a 750 (with a sidecar) so I would have got loads of seeds in that LOL

The Matchless and the Ariel are in a different league though,
severely jealous now.
