The Garden Community for Garden Lovers

Quilt show in the Garden.

This region is an international community of ex-pats mainly from US and Canada. But many other nationalities are presented as well. I even know one Scottish lady running a boutique hotel in the village. The region is also known as artist and artist “wanabee” colony and many interest groups are demonstrating their skills in little art exhibitions around the town. This is one of them:
Fabric art group call themselves Kindred quilters

The exhibition was held in one of the members garden.
She call their place Casa Phoenix

I enjoy quilting, mostly by hand but not patchwork....

the skill involved here is incredible, so finely done....look at how the pieces are fitted , such precision, and what a lovely setting to display them

Very talented , aren't they , Klahanie ?
Are you in Mexico or New Mexico ?
Nice and warm , no doubt , wherever !
Quite chilly here , although the temps aren't too bad , about 12c . It is a damp , penetrating chill .

We are in Mexico not New Mexico Driad. Same place as last year. 12 deg C is not so cold but I agree the dampness and no sun would make it chilling.
