Left holding the baby!!!

My daughter has gone on holiday, she has left her ‘baby’ with me.
Not a grandchild,
or a puppy,
kitten or plant
but her beloved Lenny…….

Lenny is a bearded lizzard, he is actually quite friendly, and loves to be out and about, but not in my house as my cats have their eye on him.

Golly (my black cat ) hasn’t taken her eyes of him yet, perhaps she thinks its a funny mouse. Lenny is also fascinated by the cats – the entertainment for the week.

Hi Arlene - I think actually she might might run away, beared lizzards can puff up a collar of skin around their necks in defense, and then they stand very upright and charge. lol -I would love to see this but I'm not risking the'baby'

Yes Cristina I do, he likes to sit on me, he's very friendly and likes to be stroked espically under the chin.

ive got two, pigg and dixie,i let them out and the cats watch them but run away when they come near, people just think they are lumps but they are very interactive, pigg has a fave cushion to sleep on and dixie likes to herd the cats

Just to add, Golly slept on top of Lenny's cage last night - just in case maybe?. Or because its nice and warm - erm we'll wait and see.

What an unusual houseguest Kf! I bet the cats would run a mile if they actually came face to face! Golly looks so cute with his big, green eyes! :o))

In all the years I lived in Australia I only met up with the Dragon Lizard three times. I shall be doing a serious search for them next month when I go on holiday, fingers crossed I find one to photograph and post here.
