i know they say its good for the garden,BUT,wheres our summers gone???it would be nice to sit out in the garden now and again,the rains been on and off for weeks now,and its not very warm!.welcome to wet wales.not!.thats my moan for the day anyway.

It seems some parts of the UK have had far too much rain, and others very dry indeed. Did you see the recent blog by Rbtkew showing the parched grass at Kew ?

I had a sly moan yesterday keithbob, then felt really guilty cos of the Goyers who have had little or no rain... but it really is getting me down, the horrid greyness!!!

We've had a great year here, the summer's been lovely.
The past 3 weeks we've had some rain every few days but most days have still had warmth and sun .... yes - it's been a nice year in this part of Somerset :-)

Same here in NOT sunny Scotland we are lucky if we get one day a week good.The heatings hardly been off & have now ordered more oil,soon be time to light the woodburner again.

Same here in Newcastle UK, I could of cried last night when the weatherman said, *Look on our website for the weather next week.. But i wouldn't bother!!!! *

I would like to join in. It is cold, grey and wet in Glasgow and I have had enough. The heating is on every evening and it feels like Autumn.
Muggy would be OK at least that sounds warm!!
My fingers are quite cold writing this and it is 18.07pm.

We had our first rain for weeks here this morning - 2 mm.. I can't say it's been very warm, though - the wind is too strong. We've had sun this afternoon, though. :-).

Just to let you know we had summer today! It has been warm and sunny. I think Sunday is to be OK then it is back to rain next week. I don't suffer from sunburn, I suffer from rust!!

As I said yesterday it is a lovely day in Glasgow today (Sunday).
I did however see a toad jumping around in my flower bed....... I do not have a pond!!!!

Well its absolutely pouring with rain here today but we`ve really needed it. Hopefully though it`ll be blue skies from tomorrow onwards, one day of wet weather was enough for me...lol! :o)
