All you wanted to know about Lisianthus.

I can´t help myself, I found a new passion.
It makes me ahhhh.
I can´t think on anything else, if I do not have it in front of eyes.

Now I know its name, too.
Thanks to my friend Sticki who introduced us to each other.
It is Lisianthus…

Commonly referred as Texas Bluebell…or Bluefield Daisy…One cannot believe that so much elegant flower comes from prairies…

I love these flowers fresh-cut in a glass vase, where they last fresh for almost two weeks. Yes. Two weeks.
I just love them. They are little miracles.

But why it attracts me so much these days.
Lisianthus is said to be a flower representing the characteristics of charisma and congeniality (prr – must halt my ego) but in the past it was linked more closely to feelings of romantic desire…who knows…
Anyway, I can imagine beautiful bunch of flowers made from three flowers – Lisianthus, Lily and Rose.

Can´t help. I fell into a trap.

Beautiful! And so like roses. But two weeks - that's marvellous!

I am afraid, it will be a problem. You know Sticki what is the difference between Eastern European and Western European? What former calls Problem, latter calls Challenge.

Paulthegarden@They are really called "Japan roses" sometimes. I do not know why "Japan", if they come from the south of the U.S.A., but they simply do :))
Scotkat@Thank you very much. I love this corner of my sleeping room, too, lol.
