i was out walking with the dogs and snapped it.
i think its a wild elderberry of some sort.

I have set up a new website today to show off my pics in full glory.
when finnished there will be a section with slideshows of the images at a decent size and resolution and a gallery section with the pics in large format so you can see the best results from the pics.

i had this same problem up until 2years ago.
i was puzzled why mine did not flower
i started feeding mine with chicken manure pellets twice a year and now they flower.
dont know if the pellets helped or it was just their time but now they flower strongly.

well,i'll be there again this summer doing the same job again and ill take my proper camera this time.
the york ones on here were only taken on a small digital camera.
and ill look out for the peacocks this time for you... lol

i didnt see any jacque but then again i was working the night shifts at the time on an exhibition in the museum grounds.
still loads of squirrels and swans around though.

very good question.
as this was growing on an estate there was no one around to ask.
i just loved the structure of them all over the estate.
i just assumed it was a type of gunnera.
i could be wrong.
