Bloomin' Marvellous

My garden is really taking off. All this rain and warm weather is doing wonders for my plants.

In this picture you can see my hostas, euphorbia, hebes, blue grass, japanese baron grass, lamb’s ears and clematis.

In this picture you can see my lamb’s ears, ceanothus, dutch lavender, french lavender and delphiniums.

In this picture you can see my french lavender, muscari, kentucky blue grass, geraniums in a bet of violets, and delphiniums.

In this picture you can see my rhododendron, ceanothus, delphinium and clematis.

In this picture you can see my new edition to the garden. Rhododendron ‘Grumpy’. this will have beautiful white flowers. i got this in memory of my grandad who died last week. Rhodys were his favourite. you can also so clumps of petunia either side. these will be a beautiful blue colour.

i’ve moved things around again, the geraniums i’ve moved into partial shade amongst a bed of violets. this seems to have strengthened them. i’ve moved my lupins for the same reason, they are now planted amongst other plants for stem support. my blue grasses were going crazy in the bed, so have potted one. the euphorbia was looking a bit leggy so have pruned it back (carefully!)

i love the overall effect of the plants and colours i have chosen. my garden is a wonderful haven.
