Yes, it's always exciting to see it 'happening'. And now you are on GoY, you can share that feeling that we all can understand.

ah well done you!! how long did they take?

16 Apr, 2012

Excellent ! Is this your first time of growing these ?

16 Apr, 2012

First time of growing! They took 5 days to look like this and they have been sewn indoors in my carte d'or icecream tub on the window ledge! I've got some outside in my mini greenhouse too but they are not doing anything yet so they must like it cosy warm!

Thanks Jill, mine are outside, I won't give up yet then!

Jill you are so right!! You are expressing my feelings EXACTLY. I am on to my third packet of seed of these, the first two having failed miserably. However, today, third time lucky...FIVE have germinated!!!!! Whoooooooo!

p.s. I put them on a radiator to give a bit of bottom heat...that did the trick!

Had I better bring mine inside?

Ive got loads of them, didnt think they would all germinate but apart from 3 they all did. There getting quite tall now & I dont know what to do with them, HELP Karen!!!

Oh gosh willi....I'm no help at all as this is my first time of growing them. I wonder if they could be pinched out...can't see why not...just like you would with a straggly sweet pea. They can't go out until after the frosts, so you have plenty of time for them to get nice and bushy before then. :)) Good luck....I how have 9 seedlings!! :))))

I think I need to do something Karen, I have 95! although some are abit ropey, Lol.
I have posted some photos of some of them.

Hahahahahaha Willi......95!!!??? I have 19 and thought that was ridiculous! What are we going to do with them??? Has anyone moved them to bigger pots yet? are we pinching out or not? I'm a bit scared now!!!!
