Sunny but Cold !!!

Hi Everyone
First I must say thank you to you all who wished me well after breaking my wrist ,very kind comments .
I am now a month out of plaster and enjoying seeing my arm and wrist again ,there is a four inch scar and at times its painful ,last thursday went to my first physio and the young lady (all the professionals look young to me these days !! )who was South African, said the damage I had done was bad but was able to do most of the exercises she showed me ,she showed my husband and I the xrays of the breaks and of the plate they put in ,I have to go back in two weeks to let them see my progress if any!! ,my grip on my right hand was 31 and left hand (broken one ) was only 13 but then the Doctor we saw in the first place said it could take up to a year until it was better !! so we shall see .

I wanted you to see my lovely Amaryllis ,that is flowering so beautifully ,This is the third time I have tried growing these and this time with success , its a lovely pale pink and white and stands proud in my fireplace .
Today we have lovely sunshine and it make us feel so much happier ,well it does me ,but then I am a Leo and love the sun .
On that happy note I will say bye ,take care everyone and hopefully Spring is just around the corner .

Hello Jean, I bet the cold makes your arm sensitive as well, these things take their time with the healing don't they, it should improve with the exercises, you take it slowly..
Your Amaryllis is lovely, I'm envious as mine was blind again, I really should try a new one, we have had a second day of sunshine, its cold but so good to see Old Sol smiling down on us, improves my mood, lol......

I have broken both wrists twice falling over, was lucky compared to your experience.
Have never seen so many unhappy people as on the visit to the Fracture Clinic.
They all obviously felt stupid for breaking bones.
Made me more careful.
We are not young anymore !
You will get better JS and be wiser for the experience.
