I only recently managed to locate this plant, with an eventual size of 2mtrs x 2mtrs.
Deutzias have never been a favourite of mine, even though they are totally hardy and provide early summer colour. Personally, I always thought they looked a bit washed out.
The difference?
Well, I came across STRAWBERRY FIELDS, and had the immediate reaction similar to when I first met my wife.
Yes, I was dumb struck, and that takes something really special to do that!!!!!!

So, if you are looking for something to stop the visitors in their tracks, and leave them still standing there, aghast, as you polish off the cheese and cucumber sandwiches and earl grey, then I suggest no more than:

hahaha KS63 - well, you know, of all the flowers in the garden, she has still the most exsquisite radiance beyond my finest blooms, even when she's standing on the compost heap!!!

Yes, I absolutely love it, especially at the moment, as it is flowering it's heart out. It's the perfect accompaniment to a large strawberry cheesecake and a strong mug of tea!!!
