we went to garden centre today and took mum.all the way there both me and my partner said defo not getting plants.we went for compost and grow bags.on entering the cente we said again no plants as we have two large greenhouses full and six portable.well all was good.compost on trolley then grow bags .then we started ha ha.we saw trailing fuscia bussy lizzies .round another corner honey suckle so andy got two.round another corner we saw these lovely shrubs well i couldnt resist.so much for not getting any plants.only thing is dont know where we going to put them.ha ha.wot addicts are we.this is our first blog so hope it is ok.

Yep and if you were good and not bought the plants you would have gone back the next day and purchased them. LOL I speak from experience LOL

Join the clan ! It's impossible to go to a garden centre and not buy plants. I've never been able to do it. Well it's not natural is it ?

i managed to visit 3 at the weekend and not buy anything in 2 of them. i was so disappointed with the choices on offer. perhaps i am getting too fussy in my old age. my brother did spend though. i got a white armeria maritima.

Oh boy, Jan. Haven't we ALL been there!!! It's a bummer isn't it.
In fact, I do it regularly, lol.
I'm sure you'll find somewhere for your plants. It always amazes me just how we do find a space when we swear there isn't one before we go to the GC.
