My First Blog

I decided to write a blog tonight
But couldn’t think what to say
(It’s not usually such a big problem -
I can normally blather all day!)
So I thought I’d do something different
And try my hand at a rhyme
(Not too sure if it’s working
But hey, I’m new, give me time!)
My garden, I find it quite lovely
So soothing, so pretty, so bright
I’m far from an expert, believe me
But striving to get it just right
I’m sure that Growsonyou members
Will be there to lend me a hand
And offer advice when I need it
Which is likely to be quite often really, cos I need all the help I can get.
(Well I couldn’t think of a rhyme for hand!)

Liked your poem and chuckled at your last line thought that a nice touch
hope you enjoy GOY and blog some more don't feel obliged to do them all in rhyme or you'll have no time to garden!!!

Nice blog. I enjoyed it. I've written a few in rhyme aswell. Sometimes it was easy and sometimes difficult. Well done on your first blog. :o)
