Is that a sarasa and a blue shubunkin Jacque? What's the yellow one? We "adopted" about 30 from my daughter & son--in-law yesterday. They are moving. They range from 12 inch long Golden Tench and Ghost carp to tiddlers. More mouths to feed. :>))

Lovely colours Jacque should really show up in your pond, never seen a lemon goldfish before very pretty.
Started off with 10 in our pond, god knows how many we have now, love to see all the babies in different colour combinations :-) Think I've got a couple of pictures somewhere put them on for you.

23 Nov, 2009

just ordinary goldfish...... the fish in the pond were pond goldfish and grew quite big...... im not going to put any more in.. if the other one dies im jusf leaving it as a wildlife pond.......... the pond fish were 2 years old.......

Sounds like a Good idea turning your Pond into a Wildlife 1 Holly when its empty :) Much better idea than Filling it in & doing away with it like many people do :(

i have a couple of frogs in the garden and the birds like to drink from it....like you i love the wildlife.....

Lovely fish Jac - Are you going to put them out in that lovely pond in spring? I also have a shubinkin called red! Re tropical fish - don't get guppies!!!!! Not even 2, they breed quickly and before you know it you'll have a tankfull! I ended up having to buy another tank :>(((. Still got far too many. How is Puss doing?

23 Nov, 2009

Puss is doing great thanx Skill & is 2 c his vet friday 4 a check up :) were thinking of buying Neons :) I bet both your tanks look very pretty :)

23 Nov, 2009

Got rid of the two tanks and got a huge corner aquarium- neons are lovely, I like the clown loaches but they grow quite big. Still trying to run the guppies down naturally so I can get the big slow movers. The male guppies are very colourful but the females are quite bland looking and also permanently pregnant! Glad Puss is doing well.

Beautifully coloured fish, Jacque, you will certainly be able to tell them all apart.
I have a tropical aquarium with mostly different types of tetras in it, plus some platys and two clown loach (who are noisy - they make a clicking sound!).
