Started with a smallish Pond @ 1st i already had my 5 fish from my old house so they needed somewhere 2 live

I Didnt even have a Bio Filter then just a Pump to make a Fountain which i liked ,But the Water kept going Green with Algae ect & Pond Chemicals didnt last long

So me & Phil went looking for a Bio Filter & Purchased 1 & a Bigger Pond with it! :D Put it all together & it looked like this when we`d done:)

But 2 day it looks like This!

& This :)

Your pond is great, Jacque, and is great for wildlife. I had a pond where I lived before but its not practical here as my gardens have been badly flooded once and I worry the fish would swim away! I do miss it though.

Nice one Jacque, keep saying i would'nt mind having a bigger pond as mine is really toddy. but then i think as i'm on my own this one is easy for me to look after.

You are a busy girl Jacque - looks lovely! The local heron obviously likes it by your pond - he's in on every shot, LOL.

How are the fish enjoying it now, Jacque? Have they settled down?

Yes, great pond Jacque. I don't have any fish because the heron drops in on my neighbour's pond on it's way to the park and eats all her fish for elevenses! I love frogs though, and did see one last year, so hopefully it will return with friends in the Spring.

Jacque is your pond netted? if not how do stop cats eating the fish....we even had a snake take ours!!!!! only have Freddie left now and I think he could do with some company, but rather loath to get anymore....the pond looks awful with my defenses, whereas yours looks really great in spite of the algae.

Well done Jacque you,ve done a brilliant job there,we had a large pond before we moved here , the Heron took all of one lot of fish we restocked it so that when we moved we decided to catch them all and then gave them to a friend for their pond as we didn,t have one here , we are still unsure about haveing another one as they are a lot of work ,we have water features and barrels instead .

Not the same I know !

Jacque - Was there a reason the tub of flowers was hiding under the bench in picture one ? Shade loving plants perchance? Is it a plastic duck hiding it's head under the leaves in picture 3 to the right of the heron?
I see the duck family has expanded to two ducks in picture 4. Wow I can see three little ducks on their way to the pond in the final picture. It looks as though you went to the trouble of putting them in a straight line too. Have you secretly been upset that none of the members commented on your artistic plastic duck efforts? Did you pay a lot of money for them? Members seemed more interested in the pond for some unknown reason didn't they!.I posted a picture of three real ducks - they attracted so little interest I deleted the picture. I don't think members are interested in ducks. I think I will test this theory with another duck photo on my site. Well at least you know I appreciated the big duck effort you made! Well done!

Hi GF :) I think the Flowers where sheltered from the Cold under the Bench GF in Pic1,Nope its not a Duck Hidding under those Leafs GF its a Dropeing Hellebore Flower :)I believe a Collection of 6 Ducks all together GF! That little group of 3 is a Joined group of 4 & I do Appreciated The Effort uv made :) lol By BTW shame on you 4 delteing Your Duck Pic:/

Jacque - The four ducks could not possibly be uncle Donald Duck and his nephews Huey, Louie and Dewey. Those would be unsuitable as there is a connection. Are they the beatles; John, Paul, George and Ringo? It must be them as there is no connection to ducks whatsoever. Mind you they did have a song about a yellow submarine and ducks sometimes go under water don't they.
