this evening my daughter discovered there is a wasp’s nest in an old guitar in our garden shed, and no they are not making beautiful music lol.
tried to take pic’s but didn’t want to risk standing near them for too long. guess i will have to get a pro in to remove them unless ye guys on here have any ideas.
so tonight, snails, the bane of my life, are looking easy to get rid of compared to these wasps.

Its probably best to seek expert help. Try not to disturb them in the meantime until help arrives. Hope you get the problem sorted soon.

Irish, you do lead an interesting life with all the critters around you, don't you! At least you don't have snakes in Ireland - or moles???? I think I read that, maybe I'm wrong on the moles.

nope spritz, your correct in saying we dont have moles

My tears are rolling down my cheecks, this is sooo funny. I always like British comedy, but for this one I don't have to switch on the tv. Thanks for the fun! Now then the wasps: I would have "smoked them out". Easier said than done. But I know the beekeeper uses smoke to quieten the bees down when he collects the honey. But Irish, you were very brave to get that guitar from the shed and spray them. Tnen I laughed again when you said they'd all gone, but where you don't know? You know, when you spray them they simply die I would think, fly off and die somewhere. They won't be back at least not those! LOL.
Anyway you UK people, you made my day ( well, what's left of it now ).

Marguerite - we British have to have a sense of humour with a climate like ours! (Summer? What summer?)
