Never heard of them Irene, where did you find them? Lots of supermarkets are now stocking different food items which I have never heard of and I would not know how to use them. What do they look like:? Pleased you have found some to enjoy and to remind you of your childhood days. :O)

Go on amazon and enter lupini beans
They are round ish pale yellow looking full of proteine
And allsorts of vitamins they come allready to eat or you can buy them dry, and then you soak them, boiled then soaked again as they are bitter if you dont soak them before and after boiling

I've had these Irene! I lived in Portugal for a short time, and remember eating these - they often served them in bars, probably because they were salted so they make you drink more ;o)

They were nice though, quite like broad beans, but I've never seen them over here.
