Ooh Ooh, it’s raining…...Hold it, its stopped again.

No thats definately rain AND thunder. Yippeeeee I can retire the rain machine.

I do know what you mean Ian getting excited about a little rain, living in Manchester we get rather a lot usually but it is raining here now and it is welcome for once :o) I did have to run out and put the mesh over my veggie box's so it would'nt bash them down, strange how it never bashes the damn grass down hmmmm?

Your not wrong Bob, it never does anything to mine either (except make it grow) I went out to have a quick check around after it stopped, went to see how much water I had collected but the downpipe wasn't in the butt (Aaarrrrrrr) so I've still not got any (Sob Sob)

I have lots of large tubs dotted around the garden for now
we had a quick shower of rain last night... never noticed as it had all dried before i was even out the door this morning grrrrr

WE had our downpour last night at last....some rain 4 the garden..... only it knocked down my lovely Mallows had to go out and try to tie them up.......

I managed to cut the grass, all 2 hours of it, then looked at the sky and said you can come down now, sure enough within 1 hour the heavens opened, and I am happy, as I wanted the graden to have a good drink. I am not keen on using hosepipe, only if it is severely dry. I am going to chill in front of the tv now then, to watch recorded Gardeners' World.
