It is worth getting out and about to see such lovely places as this.
The effort is mainly in the getting-ready before you go, all those layers!

I like the land when it has atmosphere Hywel. Great photos. It was sunny here today but cold therefore the snow is still lying.

Really lovely Hywel, I agree it does look a little eerie around the castle and would even more so on a dull misty day, I as you know like nothing better than exploring such places and like to find out as much as possible about the history , I'd say it has a lot to tell if only we could venture into its past but sometimes I admit to not wanting to be on my own, too vivid an imagination I think....

Wonderful country side and beautiful photos. It looks mystical to me. The sun looks warm in your pictures Hywel. I do not feel the cold but I take your word for it :-)
I read the history of it. I found it interesting that the remains of the castle are privately owned today.
