Potentilla fruiticosa

Oh dear i have been on here looking for something like my shrub, i have only known it as a day dawn. It has small yellow flowers and i often see it as a hedge, which looks nice trimmed up, with the yellow flowers which are small all over it. This name in the title might be it but it is definitely yellow flowers and some of these are cream and other colours. I will keep looking till i am sure. The pictures of shrubs on the internet are sometimes very deceiving. Thanks for the responses. Sorry i am not being very helpful. Regards Sue

You are probably right, Sue. You can get almost-red ones, pink-ish, white, cream and yellow. Shall I post a photo of the flowers on mine?
