Bank holiday mowday......

While T was painting the summerhouse inside ( now called the garden room as there is no sun on it until 4pm ish.) I was sent off to start mowing and edging the lawns. ( I had dripped paint several times on the new floor boards he has been putting in !! ) I managed to get all the lawns done and thought I’d show you how much better they look for a short back and sides.
This is the Left slope lawn…

The right slope lawn…

The flat lawn from both sides…

The top lawn from the garden room and further up…

The ladder is there because T has raised the shed roof and is making it the same height as the garden room.
Oh drat!! I just remembered I haven’t done the front garden lawn. Never mind I can do it tomorrow if the weather is fine. 😊
I hope you had a nice day whatever you decided to do. It’s been dull all day here and a bit cool so I’m glad we decided not to go out anywhere and cracked on with the jobs that needed doing. 😃

Good jobs! Sunny here, but still cold. I gave up and went to the pub!

Good for you Karen. We have company coming so there will be a few empty bottles for the recycle bin tomorrow....lol

The lawns look great, good job. We call ours the grass, as OH has mixed concrete on it, and still not recovered, both the grass and him when I found what he had done! He has to mow it now as I have lost all interest in it.

Yes, very tidy.More than can be said for mine at the moment.Been busy making a raised veg bed frame this weekend so no time for lawn mowing.
It's been dull and coolish here most of the day too.

Everything looks wonderful, it's amazing how much better the garden (mine not yours, which I am sure always looks good) looks when the grass is neat. Ours is not a lawn, too many weeds, but cut short looks OK. Such a lot of colour in your garden, isn't it amazing how fast they have all come out? Seems only days ago we were all moaning about the lack of warmth to get things going!

You have certainly made a good job of that HB. You have a large area to cut, and a large garden. All looks very neat.

Thanks everyone. It was lovely to relax with our friends and not be wishing I had tidied the garden. 😊
