My Mother was looking through the photo’s I had taken while the children were here, last weekend, and while I was up at my daughters house looking after them in the week. “Just like you when you were that age” says Mother. Butter wouldn’t melt one minute and up a tree the next!!

Digging for worms…..

My daughter despares….especially when we don’t get changed first after school…..whoops!!!

A typical girl,H.bird..:o) brings back lots of memories ,both of me,and my daughter ! Lol...not long before the others discover the delights of climbing a tree.:o)

I think she will be too big for this particular tree by next year..lol. The ones in the side garden don't have foot holds low enough down which is just as well as they are about 25ft tall.!! I blame my daughter for taking her and letting her climb the climbing wall at the leisure centre complete with climbing harness and belay when she was only 3. Of course I would never encourage such unladylike behavior......

I agree with Scottish, Grandmas let them run free and don't care about a bit of dirt like the young mothers of today, I can see her face she is thoroughly enjoying her self.

I think it's good to let them take a little calculated risk. Can't do with wrapping them in cotton wool. It's satisfying to see them pleased as punch when they have mastered a challenge. You do need eyes in the back of your head though sometimes....lol
