Mid July around the garden.

I am loving this warm weather in the garden. Even though the strong sunshine is burning some of the Clematis flowers and the rose blooms are blowing quicker than I would like, it’s still a real treat for me.. T put the pool up and we have enjoyed jumping in to cool down and having the grandchildren over the weekends to play in it together and in the garden.
The Clematis have more flowers this year than ever and at last the gazebo legs are gradually getting covered by the plants I have put in around them. I am hoping to get the Climbers to cover it all eventually…..

These peonies still have their flowers because this part of the garden is in shade until mid afternoon….

……and now come on in the water’s lovely…..

Hi Gralew, thank you, I don't have a name for my blue ones as I grew them from mixed seed. They do look like yours now I can compare them, thanks for pointing it out. If you have the Magic Fountain ones, shall I still send seed? The orange flowers are lilies.....only kidding, they are what I call Maltese Cross flowers. The proper name escapes me at the moment. I will look it up in a minute..it'd be lovely to share the pool with you if you don't mind the little ones splashing like mad...lol and be careful not to sit on a toy animal.....ouch!!

I'm pleased you're enjoying the weather. There's a nice breeze here today, so it's more pleasant.
Nice to see all your plants. They don't seem to be suffering from the heat.
I think I'll join you in the pool :o))

Sheila, I wouldn't mind sharing with the little ones, animals and all, miss all that now mine are older! It seems silly sending seeds if I've already got the plant, but thanks any way.Just answered your PM :-)

It all looks beautiful, Homebird. The clematis are lovely, and that honeysuckle..! How lovely still to have your peony flowering. Mine was more or less finished off by heavy rain a few weeks ago (remember that?!)

Sorry everyone, it's taken me ages to reply as the children have been staying all week. They went home late on Thursday night after dinner bath and pyjamas on so Shelley could lift them straight into bed when they got home. So tidying up and catching up on housework and ironing yesterday. So good to just relax in the pool last night after such a hot day. We are ready for them all to descend on us again this afternoon. My Son in law is doing a sponsored walk today and tomorrow, camping overnight in Yorkshire. He's done Penygent this morning still has Whernside m and Ingelborough to do. (I don't know if I have spelled them correctly)
It's very pleasant this morning, warm but overcast here. I hope you are all enjoying the respite if its the same where you are. Wish you could all join us for a nice soak with a glass of something you fancy.
Thank you everyone for your smashing comments.
Happy days......x

Thanks for the invite, Homebird - sorry I can't take you up on it! Hope you are enjoying your time with the family, and hope s-i-l doesn't collapse from heat exhaustion! Overcast here too - but still very hot. Went to visit family in NE on Thursday. We had a lovely journey home across country - everywhere looked so beautiful in the sunshine.
