The warm weather at the moment is bringing the flowers out really quickly. I thought I would put some photo’s in a blog rather than putting them up individually them I can refer back to it next year and compare…
White Campanula….

Blue Pearl Polemonium…

Magnolia Susan better late than never…..

Hello……it’s Nelly M joining Tetrarose for a little while…

Cheap Chaenomeles flowering it’s little socks off…

This is the only snow I want to see for a long, long time….‘Snow in Summer’….

Red Hot Pokers….

The Rt hand side slope lawn…

The 2 flowers on the Rt are from the Cistus Florentinus and the one on the Lt is a strawberry flower…..

Opium Poppy, Papaver orientalis…..

The first of the Alliums to flower…

Bearded Iris…

The geums and Hostas…

I hope you are all enjoying this lovely warm weather out in the garden and sitting in the cooler evenings outside with a nice cold glass of your favourite tipple……

Thanks everyone.
Booboosmum, Willinilli, Suzy and Ojibway, it's amazing how the borders fill up as soon as the weather warms up isn't it. I am in my elememnt when the sun shines all day..(Smashing isn't it Paul) I am convinced that I was meant to live in the tropics. lol.
Dido, the cherry tree is trying to recover, just a few new branches have grown and it's getting to look a little better, even had a few blossoms on this spring. It still upsets me to look at it so don't take any photo's with it in. I will put one on and you can see how it looks now.

Really nice plants you have there HB. Your cucumber is a lot farther on than mine.

27 May, 2012

Thanks Cinders. The cucumbers have suddenly shot up over the last week. I finally managed to get them into the greenhouse border before they bent double on the window sill in the conservatory. It had been far too cold in the greenhouse to risk putting them in before last Tuesday.
